2. Using Google's DNS for Connection Issues

Google Public DNS is a free solution that can be used on Windows PCs or macOS to improve your internet experience. DNS (Domain Name System) is the bridge that is responsible for translating website IPs into user-friendly addresses.

This service is provided by internet service providers, but the servers are not always good and can fail and prevent access to websites or cause slowness. The solution, in this case, is to use a reliable alternative such as Google Public DNS.

Step 1: Open Network Settings

1. Locate the network icon in the bottom-right corner of your taskbar (near the clock).

2. Right-click the icon and select "Network and Internet settings" from the menu.

Step 2: Navigate to the Wi-Fi or Ethernet Settings

1. In the Network & Internet settings:

- If you are connected via Wi-Fi, select the "Wi-Fi" option.

- If you are connected via Ethernet, select "Ethernet".

2. Click on the active network connection (e.g., Internet134 under Wi-Fi).

Step 4: Change DNS Settings to Manual

2. Turn on the toggle for IPv4.

Step 5: Enter Google DNS Values

1. After enabling IPv4, input the following values:

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

2. Leave DNS over HTTPS as "Off" unless required otherwise.

3. Click Save to apply the changes.

Turn On IPv4 and Set Google DNS

Step 6: Verify the Changes

1. Go back to the main network settings page.

2. Under the network details, verify that the DNS server assignment is now set to:

- Preferred DNS: 8.8.8.8
- Alternate DNS: 8.8.4.4.

Verify Final DNS Settings

That's it! You've successfully configured Google DNS for your connection.

3. Limited Resolution Options in the Launcher

Resolution Issue

  • Check if the video drivers are installed and updated, I recommend installing the Driver Booster program to check and update automatically.

  • If you have sufficient technical knowledge, I recommend visiting your video card website (AMD or NVIDIA) and manually updating the driver.

Step 1: Check the connection routes of your internet service (call the provider's support and ask about it)

Step 2: If the provider is unable to inform/resolve the problem, then we recommend using a VPN service to get around the situation until your internet provider can identify and correct the routing problems.
